In short
- We do not track you, do not profile you and do not run advertising. There are no analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.
- The current first-run flow requires an account. Projects, media and settings are also stored locally on your device.
- If you use MixPipe Cloud, your prompts and the files you choose to use are sent to our servers and to the AI provider that runs the model, so that your request can be carried out.
- If you use the Full version with your own keys, your API keys stay in the Keychain on your device and your generations do not pass through us.
- You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from inside the app.
1. What we collect
If you create an account:
| Data | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Email address | you, or your Apple sign-in |
| Display name, username, tag, avatar choice | you |
| Account identifier, authentication tokens | created by us |
| Password (stored only as an Argon2 hash with a salt) | you, if you register by email |
If you use MixPipe Cloud:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Prompts and generation parameters | to run the generation |
| Images and video you upload as inputs | to run the generation |
| Generated results | to deliver and store them for you |
| Model chosen, cost, status, timestamps | to run the credit ledger and support you |
| Messages you send to the assistant | to answer them |
| Device identifier and App Attest verification | to confirm a genuine app and enforce the one free trial per device |
If you make a purchase: the App Store transaction identifier, product, status and refund events. We never see your card details — Apple processes payment.
Diagnostics and support: if you send a diagnostic report or write to support, we receive what you send. Diagnostic reports are redacted before they leave the app; we do not collect crash logs automatically.
2. Why we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Creating and running your account | performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Running generations and storing results | performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Credits, purchases and refunds | performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Answering support requests | performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Keeping accounting and tax records | legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) |
| Preventing fraud and abuse of trials, refunds and rate limits | legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Publishing your work in the community catalogue | your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) — off unless you switch it on, withdrawable at any time |
We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Who we share it with
We use the following processors and providers. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
| Provider | Role | Where | What it receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH | server hosting | Helsinki, Finland (EU) | everything stored by MixPipe Cloud |
| fal.ai | AI model provider | United States | prompts, input files, generation parameters |
| OpenRouter | AI provider for the assistant | United States | your assistant messages and the context you send with them |
| Apple | app distribution, payments, sign-in, App Attest | EU / United States | purchase and subscription data; sign-in identifiers |
| Garage (self-hosted on Hetzner) | storage of your cloud media | Helsinki, Finland (EU) | your uploads and results |
Verification and support email is sent from our own mail server; no third-party email provider is involved.
We keep this list current. If we add or replace a provider we update this page before the change takes effect.
Transfers outside the EU. fal.ai and OpenRouter are in the United States. Those transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. If you do not want your prompts and files leaving the EU, do not use MixPipe Cloud: local editing and local effects run entirely on your device.
Refund requests. When you ask Apple for a refund, Apple may ask us how much of the purchase you consumed — for example how many Credits were delivered and spent. With your agreement, given in the Terms of Use, we answer that request. We send nothing beyond what Apple asks for that purpose.
Legal requests. We may disclose data where the law requires it, and we report material involving the sexual exploitation of children to the competent authorities.
4. What the AI providers do with your prompts
Prompts and input files are sent to the model provider so that it can produce your result. Providers apply their own safety filtering and may retain requests for a limited period for abuse prevention, under their own terms. We do not authorise them to use your content to train models, and we do not use your content to train models ourselves.
In the Full version you contract with the provider directly and their policy — not this one — governs what happens to your data.
5. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account and profile | until you delete your account |
| Cloud projects, uploads and results | until you delete them, or until account deletion |
| Credit ledger and generation history | until account deletion, then aggregated and anonymised |
| Purchase and tax records | 10 years, as Slovak accounting and tax law requires |
| Support correspondence | 1 year |
| Server logs (IP address, request metadata) | 10 days |
| Record that you accepted the Terms (version, time, app version, hashed IP) | for as long as the agreement is relevant, and for the limitation period afterwards |
Deleting your account removes your profile, cloud projects and cloud media, and cancels unused Credits. Records we must keep by law are retained as above.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or provide it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before.
Write to support@monomixai.com. We answer within one month. You can delete your account yourself at any time in Settings → Profile → Delete account.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully you can complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dozor@pdp.gov.sk), or to the authority in the country where you live.
7. Children
MixPipe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to support@monomixai.com and we will delete it.
8. Security
Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored only as salted Argon2 hashes. Your own provider API keys are stored in the Keychain on your device and are never transmitted to us. Access to production data is limited to the controller. App Attest is used to verify that requests come from a genuine copy of the app.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your rights we will notify you and the supervisory authority as the GDPR requires.
9. Tracking
MixPipe contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers, and does not use the Advertising Identifier. We do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track you.
10. Changes
We will publish any new version here and, for material changes, tell you in the
app before it takes effect. This version remains available at
